FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
The number of solar panels you need depends on your electricity usage, available roof space, roof orientation and what you want your system to achieve. Rather than simply fitting as many panels as possible, we look at your actual energy use and property to design a system that makes sense for your home. We can also consider future loads such as a battery, EV charger, pool or additional air conditioning.
-
There’s no single system size that suits every home. We consider your current electricity consumption, daytime energy use, available roof space, electrical supply and future energy needs. A household with relatively low usage may be well suited to a smaller system, while a property with high consumption, an EV, pool or large air-conditioning loads may benefit from considerably more solar.
-
Yes. If you’re not ready to install a battery now, we can design your solar system with future battery storage in mind. This may include considering the inverter, system layout and available installation space so adding a battery later is as straightforward as possible. We can also discuss whether installing solar and battery storage together makes more sense for your situation.

Most standard residential solar installations can be completed within one day. Larger systems, difficult roof layouts, switchboard upgrades or additional electrical work may require more time. Before installation, we assess the property and planned works so you know what to expect. Once installed, the system is tested and commissioned before we walk you through how everything works.
